Why humidity beats temp
Frostbite at 20°F + 85% humidity is common. Dry at 0°F is fine. You can't manage what you don't measure. A $15 wireless sensor in coop + display in house saves more birds than a $80 heater run blind.
Look for: remote range 200ft+, min/max memory, humidity ±3%, outdoor-rated probe. Avoid Bluetooth-only if coop 100ft+ through walls – get 433MHz RF.
